Book’n’plan is so much more than a ticketing platform. It is a cloud-based control panel that manages the full circle of a ticket operation, integration of 3rd party partners, ingestion of all data, and production of centralized solutions.
The system is built from scratch, starting with analyzing each aspect of the operation from the smallest tasks to overall management. Each step has been developed in close collaboration with the people out in the field and operations to optimize the user’s perspective. Book’n’plan is a solution from Norliga, which has been developing industrial software solutions for the Processing Industry, Power Companies and Industrial IoT since 2013.
The core system has been developed in collaboration with the National Ferry and Bus Company in the Faroe Islands over three years. The challenge was an extremely flexible system due to the complex operational environment where multiple vehicle types in an ever changing environment had all to work together.
By solving one of the most complex public transport ticketing demands, we ended up with a system that is ready to handle most imaginable user sceneries. It is this solution that we now are implementing in other places and solving ongoing ticket, booking and planning needs.
