NATIONAL REGISTRY INTEGRATION

In some cases, it may be necessary to verify a travelers identity to confirm what entitlements or special rights the traveler has access to. For this we made it possible to verify profiles against National People Registries, although the methods, requirements and access might differ from country to country.

Example: People that are living on islands, might have a different ticket price compared to people living on the mainland. Furthermore, could ticket prices vary depending on if the person is a tax payer in the country or is a tourist just visiting.

Another example with islanders is when the locals are making a booking. It is possible to reserve a certain number of seats, car space etc. to the locals and first release these close to departures. This will ensure that tourists and others don’t take all the available space from those who live on the island and make a living commuting to the mainland.
